Die Meistersinger - Act III

Following a successful series of weekend courses on the operas from Wagner's Ring cycle and last year's course on Act II of Parsifal, our next opera weekend features scenes from Act III of Wagner's Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg, under experienced professional Wagnerian conductor Anthony Legge, Director of Opera at the Royal Academy of Music, with young vocal soloists provided by The Mastersingers Ltd and generously supported by the Wagner society.

There are still places for strings and one or two brass players (trumpets and trombones on Sunday only); please contact the Administrator for more info.

Directions

TUBE: The closest tube station to the hall is Pimlico, which is on the Victoria line. St James Park is also quite close on the District and Circle lines. Allow yourself a healthy 15-20 minutes if you intend to walk from Victoria

CAR: There is free parking on weekends on the street by the school, but watch out for one-way systems in this area which may delay you.
